Hey folks!!! PP.net is experiencing a different sort of downtime right now. We're moving to the new server very soon, but domain registration has to be moved to our new server. We're currently hosted with dreamhost, and registered with dreamhost. I went to change the nameservers over to our new host, and everything disappeared.

Not to worry though, I was just testing something.

I switched the nameservers back to dreamhost for now, until we're completely moved, but the change takes a couple to few hours to reset. Once that is done, everything will still be there. In essence, nothing has gone missing, we just can't access the site just yet.

So be patient and just laugh at my stupidity...it'll make you feel better, promise!

If you have an questions regarding this matter, go ahead and post!

So just keep checking the site to see if it's reset itself yet.

Hey Phoenix Peeps! Form a circle around me and listen closely, because I have a very important announcement to make, and I want to be sure you all get the info.

As some of you are aware of right now, we had a significant amount of down time just a little while ago. At least 2 hours.

Something is definitely going on with our host. Jinx and I are seriously looking at the possibility of getting a new server and moving everything over. This downtime has been happening a lot lately, and our concern is geared towards the members of this site not being able to spend time at a place that has promised to be reliable and full of fun.

Frankly, we're sick of the downtime as much as you are. We're tackling this issue immediately and hope to find the right solution.

Not to worry, we will find a place that will transfer everything over, so nothing is lost or has to be rebuilt from the ground up.

It's important to us that the members of this site are happy, and can get on the site when they want, for as long as they want...without worrying about how much time they want before the site locks up or experiences down-time. This will be fixed, you can count on that.

That is the update as of now.

Check for updates in The Quibbler on Phoenix Prophecy, but if the site goes down again, check here for further updates. And then turn on your local news station and watch for a crazy redhead with a flamethrower annihilating the offices of one particular web hosting company. Not saying who that particular redhead may be, but if you happen to stumble across such a story on the news, any mail for me may be forwarded to a charming little hostel in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Yup. *smirk*

We're back live, by the way, although many of you discovered that late last night/early this morning. Just thought I'd make an official announcement here, for continuity's sake. :P

Yo PP peeps! It looks like our server is having issues, which is why people are having trouble accesing Phoenix Prophecy. Fret not, we'll get things cracking as soon as we can.

You can find me on MSN for the next little bit, or just comment here if you have any questions.
